Join the New Israel Fund’s New Generations for a special Shabbat dinner with emerging Arab-Israeli literary personality, Sayed Kashua.  Kashua is a regular columnist for Ha’aretz daily newspaper and the Jerusalem weekly, Kol Ha’Ir, where he addresses issues of Arab-Israeli culture and identity in a sharp-witted, satirical style.

Kashua is also the writer and creator of the critically acclaimed new sitcom, Arab Labor (“Avoda Aravit”), and author of two novels, Dancing Arabs and Let it be Morning (which is shortlisted for the prestigious International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award).

Kashua will read from his recent work and discuss Arab-Israeli life in Israel.
